- I'm currently a college student working on my EMT degree. This will be my first blogging experience due to my U.S. Government class. I hope this new political trial will enable me to see things much deeper than from the surface value. From May 2004 to May 2008, I enlisted in the Marine Corps serving as an infantryman. I've had great experiences in Afghanistan and Iraq. Since then, the yearning to serve people still resides in me, but now in the duties of a firefighter. My plans are to marry my fiance this late spring, move up north, and start living the American Dream with my new family. God bless America!
